Fashion @ Filmfare
Though I’m not big on Bollywood, I am big on Fashion - and the 53rd Annual Filmfare awards is as big as it gets when it comes to spotting all the Bollywood biggies in their black tie best all under one roof (this time, it was the Yash Raj Studios roof!).
The awards which are being telecast tonight on Sony Entertainment, saw most actors & actresses in their finery, doing no wrong. From Kangana Raut in full flowing white to Preity Zinta (who imo, always comes out tops) in velvety deep purple, most of the celebs played it safe whether western or Indian and came out looking brilliant.
Except perhaps Deepika Padukone - who won for “Fresh Face” - perhaps you can’t make out in all the long shots, but the close ups will show you her face was anything but fresh - in face she was more made up than a Matryoshka doll! Seriously girl, you are so pretty, you don’t need to put on so many layers of make up, it’ll just make you look old!
I was also impressed with Kareena Kapoor - who I think is looking sickly thin on the cover of Vogue - but who looked beautiful in the glitzy sari she wore, kudos on winning too!
SRK, another big winner, along with Bebo’s beau Saif entertained the crowds with weird antics the whole night and had everyone in splits.
So whether it’s fashion or fun or just plain Bollywood you like, be sure not to miss the 53rd Annual Filmfare Awards, tonight on Sony Entertainment, 8pm IST.

Word on the pancake but I did think Deepika’s dress was fab. Also thought Riddhima Kapoor was gorgeous. Gauri Khan and Vidya Balan, on the other hand - my eyes hurt.

I think kareena looked gr8 and so did karishma..Deepika was looking good bt they way she presented herself in Thanks giving and her performance.. she let me down big times… red carpet was more of a treat wid Some interesting couples walkin together.Vivek Oberoi was dressed brilliantly for his performance f Ae Ganpat!! I dnt know why gauri dint give a second look at her dress before comin.. newayz.. the show was good n i enjoyed.
