DesiDabba - Boss, Thoda Sa Roomani Ho Jaye

I have to say the Star Network guys have done it again and that too without the almighty Ms. Ekta Kapoor. Surely you all must have heard and in case you haven’t then here’s the big news – Super hit dance reality show, Nach Baliye is back. And that too with a bang, one has to agree.

First and foremost, Season 3 of Nach Baliye marks the return of reality queen and my mostest favorite Rakhi Sawant. The entertainment powerhouse will be doing what she does best – item number and (hopefully) annoying the shits out of her fellow contestants. As the show’s rules state, Rakhi would be accompanied by her real-life boyfriend, Abhishek. Though I seriously wonder whether he would be able to attract any attention, especially with Ms. Sawant standing right next to him. From what I have been reading, Rakhi darling has been sweating blood with excessive dance practice and such is her dedication that she even went ahead with modification of her private assets, in order to reduce the bouncing effect.

On the other hand, we have the KamaSutra Condom girl Pooja Bedi with her choreographer beau, Hanif Hilal. Though previously this couple was voted out in a jiffy from Sony’s Jhalak Dikhlaja, they have come a long way since then and have been getting a lot of praises for their Salsa moves. But what excites me the most is the fact that the ex-talk show is considered to be quite a loud-mouth; she didn’t spare poor Shweta Salve from her taunting remarks. And as the old filmy dialogue goes “Ek mayan mein doh talware nahi re sakti”, it would surely be amusing to watch which way her relationship with Rakhi turns to.

But whats truly most controversial (??) in Nach Baliye 3, is the inclusion of another Big Boss housemate and Rakhi madam’s friend-turned-enemy, the bitchy Kashmira Shah. Yup, you read it correct! Kash babe is back in new avatar and with the very new boyfriend (cum sidey actor), Krushna. During the Bigg Boss, the entire television junta thoroughly enjoyed the two ladies and their interactions – the loving, the bitching, the heckling, the abuses…everything required to make a successful Bollywood masala. Most definitely the honchos behind the show and Star Network would do their best in order to boost their TRPs, by simply re-igniting the old feud between the two hot-bloodied bindaas ladies.

The remaining eight couples (who frankly don’t matter much) are: Sweta Keswani-Alexx O’Neil, Karan Patel-Amita Chandekar, Shakti Kapoor-Shivangi Kapoor, Vikas Sethi-Amita Sethi, Karan Grover-Kavita Kaushik, Aamir Ali-Sanjeeda Sheikh and Kiran Janjani-Ritu Janjani.

On the concept front, Nach Baliye 3 would be featuring a complete new panel of judges – Khalaas girl Ishaa Koppikar, choreographer Vaibhavi Merchant (Jhoom Barabar Jhoom) and one-time hit director, Subhash Ghai. Also the popular show will now be telecasted on Star Plus and not Star One, while PlanetM will now be promoting ‘Nach Baliye’ merchandise and Gold Gym will be in-charge for the fitness of the participants.

So from the looks of it, Nach Baliye 3 promises to be far more entertaining than the previous seasons. And especially with the inclusion of Rakhi Sawant, Kashmera Shah and the likes, we would surely be witnessing more than contestants hopping on their toes. Though with most certainty there would be many missing the sexy Maliaka Arora Khan and her even sexier cleavage.

As for whom I would be cheering, well I am sure you guys know where my loyalty lays – Rakhi Sawant, You Go Girl!!
