Kasam Se: Started Off Okay .. But Now Drags
Kasam Se…started off OK but …
Another Ekta Kapoor serial that is going on strong now-a-days (Zee weekdays at 9 PM). It has different new faces, the faces that are not seen in any of the Star Plus serials. A story of three sisters Bani, Pia and Ranu who land up in Mumbai at Jai Walia’s residence after their father’s death. Jai Walia is an arrogant person and one of the culprits responsible for their mother’s death (but that mystery is pretty much resolved). Bani is a very responsible person, caring for others, and who can do anything for family members. Pia is very modern, and right now a total negative character in the serial who has spoiled her sister’s life like anything to fulfill her own desires. The third sister Ranu, on the other hand, is a very stable girl who is a true copy of Bani.
Story of the serial in the beginning was, Jai Walia falls for Pia even with an age gap since he is impressed by her, but Pia ditches him for Pushkar (much closer to her age). To save the honour, as well as egged on by a conniving Jai Walia’s sister Bani gets married to Walia (a very very unbelievable sequence, imagine getting married by mistake). When he finds out the truth, he is absolutely mad, but her innate inner beauty and nature smoothens out the relationship as the
time passes.
But this is a serial, and things can never be good without some issues coming up. The sister, Pia is not moving well with Pushkar and she wants to return into Jai’s life. And things keep happening, at one time the good Jai Walia slips up and Pia is now pregnant, everything just messens up.
There are more things happening, in the sense that all possible things happen, a memory loss, a blackmailed husband, a 5 year transition, and so on. At this point of the serial, Dev(Ronit Roy) uses Bani who is full of anger and anguish against her husband and her sister.
I was a bit surprised when I read somewhere that the main character of this serial Bani is just 18 years old and she was to give her 12th exams. And she is playing a mother of two in the serial right now. I mean she doesnt look like a teenager. But she is a sweet girl, a girl next door.
When the serial started it was going on fine, I was seeing it as it seemed interesting, but somehow I lost interest in middle and as I have got somewhat busy, I am normally not able to watch this one.
But if it stretches very long as normally is done with Ekta Kapoor’s serials this would again become another KSBKBT (Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi). And please God Give Me A Break………….No more Kyuki…

a nice review, i like serial very much but u r right in saying its dragging its tooooooo slow .. hope ekta knows it…makes story line fast…shuts the nonstop aparajits talks ..brings intresting twist & turns in bani -jai life.

BANI SHOULD COME BACK IN JAI’S LIFE AS HE HAS BEEN HONEST WITH HER. THE SERIAL HAS BEEN DRAGGED TOO MUCH ESPECIALLY WITH THE ENTRY OF APARAJIT DEV UNNECESSARILY.
I DON’T WANT BANI TO MARRY DEV OTHERWISE IT WILL BE ANOTHER KASAUTI ZINDAGI KI.
IT IS BETTER NOW PIA BE PUNISHED AND DEV CHARACTER BE VANISHED. I AM STILL THINKING HOW AN ESTABLISHED STAR LIKE RONIT ROY HAS ACCEPTED SUCH TYPE OF ROLE.
PLEASE DON’T MAKE THIS SERIAL ANOTHER KASAUTI ZINDAGI KI.
MARRYING TO DEV WILL BRING DOWN THE POPULARITY CHART OF KASAM SE WHICH IS DIPPING DAY BY DAY.

you cannot that relationship so easily.Bani may be frustrated with previous mishapps but why havent any other member of the family met bani.Its ok if he gets married to piya but bani shouldnt.Plz dont make Kasam se a flick of KASAUTI.You guys can pull the serial in any other way but not like traditional EKTA flicks.This serial serial has got my attension but plz dont make me lose it.

This is a humble appeal to EKTA Kapoor,
Please try something new. Kasam Se started off so well and now it seems never ending. Please let Bani & Mr. Walia unite once and for all. Don’t drag the story soooooooooo long . Don’t make Bani old grandma and mak eher suffer all her live. We are sick of serials which portray sufferings and hard life of good human beings. Let the good women enjoy the goodness of lives and let the wicked ones suffer. Why these Piyas, Jigyasas have al the fun in life. Do you want to promote that good people are the ones who suffer. India will have no good women then. We are sick and tired of your same old, ghisi piti stories. Think something new and fresh EKTA. You are such a young girl and your mind is full of frustations and sadness it seems. Are you depressed or something?
Kasam Se was the only serial that glued me on TV but now it seems to be follwoing the same old path of Kasuati et all.
Please for god’s sake bring some change in your thinking and your storyline. We are getting depressed and frustetaed watching them. You may have wanted to cast Aparajit Dev in your serial but there was no need at all. We all love him too. In fact we watch the serial just for Mr. Walia and DEv. But Dev could have been projected in another way. Please bring a nice twist otherwise we will stop watching all your sick serials.

please send bani to the life of jay. Nowadays the serial is becoming more boring day by day. In the beginning the serial was very good when three sisters were together happily.And please make piya as good as before.Please let the three sisters live together like before. Please accept my comments.

Please just let Pronita/Bani and Jai just unite in the end. I love Kasam Se, I’m a huge fan but others jsut want happiness in the show like me. Let Meera be proved and known as the culprit and let Jai and BAni get together! Many ppl like me want BAni and Jai to get together. You have a chance to make KAsam Se the most popular show ever so just let them get together and bring happiness into the show cuz that’s what your audience wants.
