Are you Idle?
Seriously, if I was to watch one of the Idol shows, it would be American Idol - and mainly for cutesy desi boy - Sanjaya Malakar! He’s only 17 (so no leching you old women, please) & he has this really cute mop of curly hair falling to his shoulders…. ahh… where was I?
Oh yeah. American Idol. You can catch that at 8 pm every Wednesday & Thursday on Star World.
But that’s me. If Indian Idol is your thing, you may be interested to know that casting is going on right now. Yes, lucky you! If you’re in Baroda, Bhopal, Kanpur, Delhi, Kolkatta or Mumbai - you can still go & try your luck at becoming the next Indian Idol. I’m not sure if the ability to sing is actually a criteria for the auditions - from the looks of opening shows, it’s as if they’re saying: WE WANT WEIRDOS!

I saw the audition epi when Sanjaya & his sister were on the show…..Both qualified for the next round…don’t know what happened next….:( …more on this Melody…pls..if possible.

Well from what I know and have seen (little) from the siblings, the sister was kicked out and the cutie Sanjaya went forward.
But I highly doubt that he would move over further unless and untill he really makes an impression via his singing talent.
On the looks…doesn’t he look a little “retro” ??
