I just caught Big Boss today after over a week…in fact for the first time since Rakhi baby got back on the show. I’m mighty disappointed!

Today’s karya has the inhabitants (inmates?) dressed in army fatigues and spoof-acting the military routine. General Baba generally marches around a la The Great Dictator but fails to pull it off on account of being more interested in the food than in maintaining discipline. Jawan Rakhi and not-so-jawan Ravi Kissen play out their respective OTT drama roles with Rakhi baby rolling onto her back and firing into the sky, all the while hollering

Hum yaheen ada rahega. Kissi ko nahin chodega!

Colonel Roopali is on a bhook-hartal (the ‘in’ crowd calls it a diet, dahling…) while Sulky Sadh shows off some military manouvers and then promptly falls asleep. Yawn, yawn, yaaawwwwwwwnnnnnnn. I hope Sakshi will forgive me for this but even her beloved Rakhi Sawant fails to pique my interest now. No more lovebirds, no more Nasty Kash, no more Deepak daddy, no more Fat Tijori….the show has well-run its course.

While on reality shows, I seem to have been bitten by the bug anyway. Nach Baliye 2 finished up well and clean and good. I have a great feeling there and will watch it next season too! The newest one to catch my interest is MTV Roadies. I stayed up till 3 am. this weekend watching ‘Rear View’ which is a sort of recap and highlights of the past 3 seasons of the Roadies shows. Its pretty neat this one – All the masala and bickering of a reality show but with some fundoo adventures (boat-racing, rock-climbing, biking). Oh and yeah, the guy who hosts it, Ranvijay (also winner of the first season) is pretty easy on the eyes too. Anybody following this show….leave a comment…I need someone else to bitch with. My personal favorite is Bani…..yessirreee….we lurrves her nakhras and yeah, the tattoos help too. The MTV Roadies website describes her as a philospher with no audience. Ah! We empathizes, we has been the rebel with meaningless, unheard causes too. All the best gurl.
